Received the scientific degree in Islamic Studies (years: in 1946, and an MA in Islamic Sharia (Year: 1969 m) of the University of Baghdad, and won the Masters in Comparative Jurisprudence (Year: 1971 m) of Al-Azhar University and a Masters in Law (Year: 1973 m) from the University of Cairo, and received a PhD in Comparative Jurisprudence with honors from the University of Al Azhar (Year: 1975), and a PhD in law (Year: 2006 m) of the University of Mesopotamia.

And taught at the faculties of law at the University of Mustansiriya, and the University of Baghdad, Al-Nahrain University, and the Judicial Institute since (Year: 1976) and the granting of rank professorship of the University of Baghdad (Year: 1987), and the title of Professor veteran (Year: 1990, and the emblem of the book (Year: in 1995), and won awards Distinguished Professor of the University of Baghdad, Al-Nahrain University.
